Start your musical journey with my introduction to Handpan Course. Learn the basics of handpan playing. Most importantly, learn the 'touch' and the various techniques required to get the purest sound. We can also explore a simple rhythm as a foundation for you to build from. Having built handpans since 2014, I can show you where all the sounds are and how to access them on your instrument. This is not a music lesson. This is purely how to get started properly. I always teach this to people who come to collect their first instrument from me. It takes a couple of hours out of my working day, but I believe it is really helpful and saves weeks, if not months of trial and error. By the end of this session I would expect you to have a good technique and a simple rhythm in your armoury to build from. You should be able to play something that people would be happy to listen to.
